I recently discovered this channel and I'm really liking your vibe! This video brought back memories of my own experience of the beginning of the pandemic, cuz I was also living by myself, and the lockdown similarly made me bored, sad, lonely, horny etc. Also felt the whole "I have to be productive during this time!" and "damn why didn't I explore my city more before the pandemic".

I think it’s great how she brought up how other jobs also matter though because most of the time our jobs seem pointless, yet businesses wouldn’t run without us. I think you are the coolest person I have seen on AMdone in years. It is 2:12am on 2/5 and I need to get up by 6 and leave home by 7 to go to work. I take an hour for lunch on Fri to go to the bank to cash my check then I need to go to a couple of churches hopefully they are open because my brother's Daily Bread devotional ends in Feb. He is in rehab and has not been home to his house eith his family since he had 40% of his skull replaced Feb 13th 2020. He spent 161 days in the hosp in Edison, NJ most of the time the hosp was on lock down and he couldn't go see his don graduate from college. My nephew works at Rains in Manhattan he is a music major and he foes graphic art along with his GF. The just moved to a huge 3 BR apartment. Orig it was $5500 before the pandemic then that hit thousands moved out of NYC and tons moved out of this apartment building. To get people to move back in the management company reduced the rent to $1500 everything included. My mortgage for 20 yrs was $1467 plus $50 a month for parking in the covered garage area and $47 a month for water. I cannot believe how much you and I are alike. I never saw you until I watched your video tonight of your LA apartment. I live in a house right now and Sept 2019 I painted my bedroom Soft Sage by PPG Timeless collection and I had enough paint to paint the bathroom. Its old black and white tile from the 50s but the green looks nice. With Christmas money I bought myself nice paint brushes and a set of acrylic paints. I want to start painting. Before leaving for work Thursdsy morning I watched a video out out by Plaid Crafts using acrylic paints on canvas how to paint a simple vase of flowers. You mentioned that your from Southern Md. My brother was orig on Kent Island for close to 20 years but wanted to get back to the Jersey shore so had a job transfer. I am sorry your alone alot. I wish I lived closer to you we could sit on the fire escape and drink coffee paint talk. I am 57 but people say I look the same as I did in high school. In 2016 I was bedridden for 4 months and in out patient rehab for 3. I almost lost my leg due to a hit and run in my first day of vac. For 4 months I wore depends to give my mom a break at night. During the day I was on a port bed pot. I sat in bed not being able to be my leg for months. I have a dead person's tibia and a 14 inch rod 6 screws donor hone and paste. My fibula is plastic. I made jewerly and did rubber stamp art, note cards, played the guitar. I had a friend come to my moms house and cut 16 inches off my hair easier to manage when bedridden. I vowed to myself when I can walk and go home I wanted to get into a craft class and go shopping for new clothes, go out for a nice dinner even if alone. I loved my craft class but it closed due to pandemic. I am alone every night and most weekends accept I visit my mom for an hour on Saturdays masked unable kiss her. She has terminal cancer. In Sundays my dad comes over for breakfast. By 11 I'm alone again. I think your beautiful and do not short change yourself. I love your makeup. I better hit the hay. In closing I have tons of plant one as old as me. Since Jan 3rd I have been sleeping on the couch because my bedroom is so cold. It is always a mess and every weekend I say I will work on it. I just bought a large piece of art for it last weekend so hopefully will be motivated. I want to relocate furniture so I can use my fireplace for warmth. Have a great weekend. You delay gratification and call free time to hang out and explore with good company a “yolo” learning lesson because you don’t think you deserve happiness for reasons only you would know why. But I’m guessing it’s because you attach your value to work and productivity which is essentially a capitalistic mindset and is ingrained in all of us who live in America. Which is normal. It’s normal to be anxious and unworthy of free time, sadly. So your not weird or crazy for feeling this way. But being a human is hard and we need good company and rest to feel good and feeling good is something you deserve. That’s why your so anxious when u have nothing to do. But realizing you feel unworthy of happiness is hard because then you’d have to come to conclusions that u are worthy.

I’m the same as you with animal crossing, it was my first proper video game apart from Minecraft and it means so fuckin much to me, both of these obsessions have really resurfaced in quarantine, I’ve found so many Minecraft and AC youtubers who have such comforting content, like tommyinnit or quackity (both of them are so fuckin funny lol) When the person in that apartment was saying how they felt like rapunzel in her tower, I felt that so hard even though I don’t live in a tower or a tall building lol

She works hard, is so outgoing, but I feel like she pushes herself too much to be relevant, when, she should just be herself, which is better for her and for her viewers. She’s done mistake that have been because she was trying to fit an image. We understand and I’m not here to judge, I’m just saying I love when she lets her guard a little lower and when she expresses her actual personality and ideas. No one should feel the need to change what they’re doing just to be liked (more).
